•Orlando Pirates 1(4)-(5)1 RS Berkane
Morocco’s RS Berkane were on Friday crowned champions of the 2021/22 CAF Confederation Cup after beating South Africa’s Orlando Pirates at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria.
The match ended goalless after 90 minutes and 1-1 in extratime to necessitate shootouts.
And it was Lorch Thembinkosi, who had equalised for Pirates after Youssef El Fahli had put Berkane up in extratime, who missed his penalty.

Hamza El Moussaoui, Youssef Zghoudi, Ismail Mokadem, Issoufou Dayo and Brahim El Bahraoui scored their respective penalties for Berkane.
Happy Jele scored the first for Pirates before Lorch, who was also named man of the match, missed the second. Tshegofatso Mabasa, Thabang Monare and goalkeeper Richard Ofori scored the subsequent three.
It’s the second CAF Confederation Cup title for RS Berkane who got their first in 2020 when they beat Pyramids 1-0, goal by Issoufou Sellsavon Dayo in Rabat.
