CAF has appointed FIFA trained security expert Dixon ‘Bond’ Adol Okello as the head of Security for the 2022 CAF Confederation Cup final.
South African side Orlando Pirates will play RS Berkane of Morocco in the much anticipated final due May 20 in Nigeria at the Uyo-Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
It’s the latest assignment for Bond who was voted the best security officer at the 2021 AFCON finals in Cameroon.
The no-fitina man – as he is commonly known in Uganda – was the head of Security at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations final between Senegal and Algeria in Egypt..

It promises to be another big task for Bond as the elite clubs meet in Nigeria.
