The new dates for the forthcoming Cecafa Women Championship that will take place at Fufa Technical centre in Njeru have been set.
Initially, this tournament was slated to take place between 22nd May to 5th June.
But however, it has been moved to next month starting on 1st June till 11th the same month this year.
The first game of this tournament will see Burundi take on Djibouti on Wednesday 1st June, 2022.
For the hosts, Uganda, they will be up against Rwanda in the second game of Wednesday.

They will later face Djibouti on Friday 3rd in the second group game before facing Burundi on Sunday 5th in the last group game.
In this championship, Uganda is dipped in group A alongside Rwanda, Burundi and Djibouti.
Currently, the summoned players are in Camp at Cranes paradise hotel in Kisasi as they prepare for this tournament.
Uganda, coached by George Lutalo will hope to use this tournament as a way of preparing for the Women Africa Cup of Nation tournament that will take place in July 2022 in Morocco.
