Wednesday, May 11
•Power Vs Our Saviour – 6:30pm
•KIU Titans Vs Falcons – 8:30pm

Power will be seeking to extend their good run when they face off with Our Saviour in the Tusker-Lite sponsored National Basketball League on Wednesday at Lugogo.

Power have won three games in a row, since falling 68-75 to City Oilers at Lugogo.

They have since beaten Ndejje University Angels, Victoria University and JKL Dolphins.

A match against Our Saviour hands Coach Bernis Ankunda a good opportunity to win a fourth straight game as they seek to ascend on top of the log.

The meeting finds Our Saviour struggling to out wins on board after lost their last two fixtures against UCU Canons and KCCA Panthers.

In Power, Our Saviour will face a team they have not beaten in their previous five meetings, including a 112-58 mauling in the 2019 season they got relegated.

But a lot has changed since then, with only Isaac Afidra and Guddi Nasser Kikiri the only two remaining serving members of Power in that squad.

Fahmy Ssebatindira, Amini Mkosa, Paul Odong, Libe Makala, Joseph Ikong, Philip Ameny, Brian Sivachi and Syrus Kiviiri among other have all moved on.

Coach Bernis will mainly bank on the trio of Innocent Ochera, Afidra and Soro Geoffrey who are averaging double figures in Points scoring, to get the job done.
