Bombo based Buganda Regional League side Young Simba has been deducted six points and six goals.
Young Simba FC did not turn up for the Buganda Regional League Match at home with Lukaya Town Council on 13th April 2022 at Kasana Luweero Ground and the Match wasn’t played after they didn’t make a formal submission for their failure to turn up for the match.
According to Buganda Region Disciplinary Panel, The ‘Snipers’ breached Article 25 (4) and 5(b) of the FUFA Competitions Rules.
Therefore, Young Simba looses the match by forfeiture to Lukaya Town Council and further docked 6 points and 6 goals.
Young Simba also had another decision go against them this time away to Busiro United on 20th April at Ssaza ground in Kiboga were the match wasn’t played.
Busiro United had missing licenses that were sent electronically to the match Officials for inspection by Buganda Region Football Association Secretariat.
But Young Simba refused to play the match minus the physical licenses of Busiro United FC.
Citing Article 8 Communications and Article 27 (8) of the FUFA Competitions Rules, the Disciplinary panel decided that Young Simba FC loses the match by forfeiture.
However, Young Simba match with Kakiri Town Council FC has been rescheduled after it was initially scheduled for 3rd April 2022 at Kasana Luweero Ground.
The panel’s findings show that Young Simba made a submission in regard to its failure to host the match to which was approved by the panel.
The Bombo based side was also fined at the start of second round for beating a referee in a 1-0 home loss to Entebbe FC.
After losing six points and six goals, Young Simba are bottom of the Katonga Group in 12th with 7 points after 16 matches having won 3, 5 draws and 11 defeats with goal difference of -22.
