SC Villa and Police’ struggle to beat the drop faced another obstacle after both sides played out a goalless draw at Lugogo.

But it’s two points dropped for SC Villa, who despite their dominance, failed to find the back of the net.

Fred Gift hit a crossbar from point blank range in the fourth minute as the Visitors showed early intent.

But their biggest chance came in form of a penalty after Benson Muhindo’s effort was blocked by Joseph Ssentume’s hand.

But Muhindo skied the penalty over Tom Ikara’s goal frame in the 70th minute to leave the travelling fans reeling.

Police drops to relegation zone, with 25 points, three adrift of safety after Busoga United finished it late against Wakiso Giants at Kakindu.
