Former Vipers SC left back Aziz Kayondo has completed his loan move to Major league soccer side Real Salt Lake FC in the United States of America.
Before sealing his new move, it has been understood that the left back first signed for Czech Republic club MFK Vyskov in a four-year contract on undisclosed fee.
However, his parent club Vyskov have opted to loan him to the Major League Soccer side Real Salt Lake.
It is good news to Kayondo, who has been enjoying the form of his life both at his former club Vipers and at the National team level.
In his early stages, Kayondo grew up from Vipers feeder side St. Mary’s Kitende before he was promoted to the senior team.
During his time at Vipers, Kayondo won one Uganda Premier League trophy and one Uganda Cup as well as the Fufa Super 8 trophy.
Before his move to greener pastures, the left back played most of the games in the first round this season and his last game came against Bul FC as they drew 1-1 with Vipers at Kitende.
At the national teams, Kayondo was a key member in the U20 team that were beaten finalist in the AFCON U20 tournament held in Mauritania the previous years.
Under Cranes head coach Micho, Kayondo has been a regular on various occasions and he featured in the Cranes preparation games recently.
