Former KCCA FC manager Mike Mutebi and his assistant Jackson Mayanja have been relieved of their duties at Rwanda Premier league side As Kigali.
It has been understood that former Bandari FC head coach Cassa Mbungo Andre is set to take over the head coach role at As Kigali.
It is not good news to Mutebi, who was unveiled earlier this year in January as the head coach for the Rwandan side.
He had been named on the role alongside former Uganda Cranes legend Jackson Mayanja, who has been his assistant.
His appointment was seen as one that could take the club back to the top and also compete with the top clubs in Rwanda.
But however, Mutebi has failed to impress his bosses in as many games he has served as head coach.
His side As Kigali are currently seated in the 5th position on 37 points after 25 games, 13 points below leaders Kiyovu Sports.
Before landing a deal at As Kigali, Mutebi had been out of active coaching for a long time ever since parting ways with KCCA FC where he achieved a lot during his time at the Lugogo based club.
