The win capped a fruitful day for Uganda who got the tournament underway with an emphatic win over Burundi in round one.
Uganda then beat Tunisia in the first group game of Round two before the evening victory over Zambia.
The Rugby Cranes 7s end Round two with a tie over Burkina Faso, and any result may be good enough for Uganda to reach the semis.
Uganda, cheered on by an enormous home crowd, are targeting a place in top three to qualify for the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens in South Africa.
The top two, outside Kenya, will also book a place to Commonwealth Games later this year in Birmingham.
