Uganda managed to make light work of Tunisia with a 29-00 scoreline in a Nile Special sponsored 2022 Rugby Africa Sevens at Kyadondo.

A brace from Phillip Wokorach who also made two conversions helped Uganda get their second round group tie on a good note.

Michael Wokorach, Aaron Ofoyrwoth and Nobert Okeny also contributed a try each in winning effort.

It was a commanding show for Tolbert Onyango’s charges, off the back of a 71-00 victory over Burundi in round one match.

Next for Uganda is another group match against Zambia in the evening before facing off with Burkina Faso on Sunday.

Uganda, two time champions, will seek to finish among the top two in the group to book a place in the semifinals.

The three best teams overall qualify to the 2022 World Cup Rugby 7s in South Africa.

The top two, outside Kenya, will reach Commonwealth games in Birmingham.
