Vipers players celebrated wildly inside the Lugogo dressing room after beating KCCA FC to tighten their grip on the Uganda Premier League title.

Goals from Cesar Manzoki and Milton Karisa helped Vipers recover from a goal down to take maximum points in an enemy territory.

Denis Iguma had given KCCA FC a dream start after a good header early in the 5th minute but the hosts failed to close out the game and eventually slipped 12 points behind runaway leaders.

Bobosi Byaruhanga, 2021 Airtel FUFA Player of the year, was in the middle of celebrations, as he was sorrounded by his teammates bouncing up and down on the tunes of ‘Ole.. ole.. ole..’

Hillary Mukundane was seen lifting a big suit case, Captain Halid Lwaliwa later joined the jubilations shirtless, and coaches Roberto Oliveira and Marcelo Cardoso were part of the party.

It will take a miracle of sorts for anyone to stop Vipers to be crowned champions who literally need two wins from the remaining six games.
