Preview: Express target top four finish as they visit Wakiso Giants.
The red Eagles of Express FC are aiming to collect maximum points against Wakiso Giants as they target a top four finish.
Express FC head coach James Odoch has set his season’s targets to a top four finish after going two games on a winning run.
They currently sit sixth with 39 points with just two below fourth placed BUL FC on 41 points.
“Our target is to win the game against Wakiso Giants so that we close the gap and finish in the top four. The game will have a different approach because Wakiso is not SC Villa but we target a win.” Said James Odoch.
A win for Express FC against Wakiso Giants will help them move to the fourth position on the log with 42 points.
“We have been watching them on several occasions and we have worked on our defensive errors from the previous game. Wakiso Giants score many goals at home and that’s what we want to avoid.”
Wakiso Giants come into this with a poor run at home as they have previously lost both of their last home matches but an away win against Tooro United will boost their confidence levels as they face Express FC.
“We recovered from the back to back losses at home with a win away to Tooro United against a team that hadn’t lost a game by second round at their home in Buhinga,” said Wakiso Giants coach Alex Gitta.
“We want to build on that against the defending champions Express FC who have improved of late.”
