FUFA Big League table

Ezra Kaye Kizito scored four goals as Kyetume FC ran riot against Nyamityoobora to seal a comfortable 6-0 win in a FUFA Big League match played at Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara.

Sharif Saaka scored a brace for Kyetume to 34 points, just a point below joint leaders Kataka and Blacks Power who will meet on Thursday, with two games to spare.

The Slaughters are two points above fourth-placed Maroons.

Kaye, recently summoned on the National team, has now moved to 15 goals, tightening his grip on FUFA Big League top scorer boot ahead of Fred Amaku (Maroons) on 11.

Nyamityoobora who already confirmed their relegation from the Big league next season had nothing to offer as they succumbed to a loss against Kyetume.

Ezra Kaye put the visitors ahead in the early minutes of the game as Sharif Saaka scored his first to end the first stanza in a 2-0 lead for Kyetume FC.

The second stanza was dominated by Kyetume as Kaye netted his second in the 54th minute of the game.

With 62 minutes on the clock, Saaka completed his brace on the day and Kaye once again appeared on the score sheet completing a hat trick in the 75th minute before sealing his fourth with just six minutes to end the game.

Kyetume just have to win their two remaining games to confirm a place in Uganda Premier League next season.

They host Proline this Thursday before a daunting trip to face Kataka FC.
