SC Villa will miss the services of head coach Petrous Koukoros who is serving his red card ban he received against Wakiso Giants.

Isma Mugulusi and Charles Bbale are long term absentees who are still on their road to recovery.
Travis Mityaba returns to the squad and is available for selection after helping his school qualify to the national post primaries.

Express FC welcome back Martin Kiiza who returns to the squad after recovering from a dental problem.
Mahaf Yaya Kakooza joins the sick bay alongside Murshid Juuko and Abel Etrude. Deus Bukenya is also unavailable for selection in the Kampala derby.

SC Villa will be up against Express FC at the FUFA technical center in Njeru as they target maximum points in their move to beat the drop zone despite sitting two places above the red zone with two points ahead of Bright Stars in the 14th place.

SC Villa have had a good run in their last two games winning one in the league and eliminating Onduparaka in the Uganda cup and will have to bank on their better performances if they are to pick a win against Express FC.

SC Villa are yet to lose a game against their rivals Express FC despite having a mixed run of performances. They picked up a goalless draw in the first leg and also eliminated the red Eagles in the Uganda on shootouts as they drew goalless.

For Express FC who picked their second league win in second and the first for interim coach James Odoch, they are to rely on the confidence which they received after winning against Police FC.

“Everybody knows the Villa game is a derby and it’s always a difficult one, we have changed our technique and system but most importantly we have worked on our finishing.” Said James Odoch.

“Our last win against Police FC boosted our confidence and that’s what we intend to use in the game”. Added Odoch.

Club captain Enock Walusimbi has urged his teammates to go on a revenge mission as they target a win against SC Villa who eliminated them in the Uganda Cup.

“Our game tomorrow against S.C Villa is going to be a tough one, we as players have prepared well and we all want to avenge the cup loss in March so we shall definitely do our best to win the game”. Said Enock Walusimbi.

Express FC picked up their first win in 9 games despite losing just one and picking up seven draws, their main focus is aimed at their sharpness Infront of goal so as they turn chances into goals.
