She Maroons vs UCU, @4p, Luzira Prisons Grounds
Inform Uganda Martyrs High School WFC, host struggling defending Champions Lady Doves in their Women Super league second round opener at Lubaga.
They will be looking forward to complete a double against Doves following a 3-1 win reverse fixture at Masindi, which was Martyrs first win of the season, thanks to Elizabeth Nakigozi, Latifah and Catherine Nagadya’s goals
With a rescheduled game in hand from first round, the Kiddawalime’s are in 2nd with 16 points, just 4 points shy on table leader She Corporates, and a win tomorrow will very much put them in tittle contention conversation.
The Lubaga side who stormed into 2nd on log after a comfortable 3-1win aganst record championship Kawempe Muslim in their last game two days ago, are on 3 game winning streak.
They defeated new entrants She Maroons by 2-1 on away before stunning former champions UCU 1-0 and Kawempe Muslim to record their 5th win of the season in 8 games.
They have only lost ounce at home so far, which was a 1-0 against Tooro Queens and their only second loss since losing to FC She Coprates in league opener
Goalkeeper Sharon Kaidu is confident that they win walk away with maximum points even though they are facing a bit difficult side compared to the one played in first round.
“We know that they are a different side now from the one which we faced in first round, but we are well prepared and only hoping for the win” Kaidu talking to club’s media after last training.
Zamin Masunge is the only missing player in the camp, occupied with court cases since she is a lawyer.
On the other hand, it’s safe to say that its going to be very hard for visitors to defend their after following the only two wins collected in entire first round.
Their poor form saw them placed 7th on the log with only 9 points, just only three points above relegation.
However, they are coming into this one with their heads high after picking they first away in their last match, which was a 2-1 against Rines at Wakisha.
But on a bad note, its only Rines defence which has onceded much goal (16) than theirs(13), so they should be alert because they are facing one of the side which more than any other.
