FUFA Fines Kataka FC

FUFA Big League side Kataka FC has been fined by FUFA Competitions Disciplinary panel.

The Mbale based side has been fined UGX 1M for breaching Article 30(8), 31(2) and 31(3) of the FUFA Competitions Rules during their Big League match with Calvary FC on Thursday 31st March 2022 at Mbale Municipal Stadium.

Prior to the game, Kataka FC denied Calvary FC access to the Stadium upon arrival and they also hid the balls and left only one when they took the lead.

The fine must be paid by Thursday 21st April and failure to pay shall lead to stronger sanctions.

Kataka FC came from behind to win the game 3-2 goals from Francis Odongo, Raymond Onyai and Hassan Wadenga while Oonyu Paul had earlier equalised for the Visitors before Choka Julius gave them the lead.

Ahmed Ramant was sent off for Calvary FC.

Kataka are top of the log with 32 points after 17 matches having won 9 games, 5 draws and 3 defeats.
