Women Super League: No Time to Rest as Second Round Fixture Released

The FUFA competitions committee has released the second round fixtures of the Women Super League after climax of the first round.

The second round will kick-off on the 5th of Tuesday April, just two days after the end of first round and climax on the 11th of June.

She Corporates who ended the first round on a high topping the table with 21points and are yet to lose a game in the nine games played winning six(6) and drawing three(3) games.

They will kick off their second round games as they visit Kawempe Muslim at their home ground in Kawempe valley.

Second placed Kampala Queens who lost just a single game in the first round will be seeking to pile the pressure on She Corporates as they open up their second round games at home against Tooro Queens.

Only three teams are yet to complete their round one fixtures due to the interruption of the Uganda U20 and U17 girls teams participation in the continental qualifiers to the world cup on both levels.

Kawempe Muslim who have so far played eight(8) games will have their first round game against Uganda Martyrs HS rescheduled to Wednesday 6th April before they host She Corporates in second round.

Rines SS who sit rock bottom of the league have also played a game less as they go into second round to play Olila HS at Kabaka Kyabagu stadium.

Uganda Martyrs are the only team to play more less games than any other team in the league as they have played seven(7) league games and are yet to play Kawempe and Rines which were rescheduled do to national team engagements.

The fixtures might be affected by schools performances in the Uganda Secondary schools sports association games which will take place in Gulu next month and may be subjected to change.
