Catherine Nagadya’s 90th minute goal was the only difference as Uganda Martyrs High School stunned UCU Lady Cardinals in FUFA Women Super league game played at Rubaga.
The result sees Uganda Martyrs record their 4th win of the season, which kept them firmly in 4th on log with 13 points and with two games in hand to finish second round.
For UCU who have finished their first round matches, scumbled to their 3rd defeat, however they are still 3rd on the log with 14 points collected from 9 matches.

It was an average and evenly contested displayed, highlighted by the fewer half chances created.
And the opening 45 only came to life in its last five minutes when free spaced Bridget Nabisaalu in 40th minute failed to tap in Sandra Kisakye’s corner, when she fired her close range far over the bar
At the stroke of the first half, Nalongo denied hosts the lead when she parried Nakigozi’s hard shot into a corner to end first stanza goalless.
Second half was slightly different, opening up with hosts clear chance of Nakasi’s header which was denied by Cross bar when Nalongo was already beaten.
And in no time, visitors nearly responded with goal but Nakasi’s shot inside the martyrs

After missing a seated off Munyana’s efforts, Nagadya at the stroke of 90 minutes, drove Namusoke’s ball past defender Joan kwagala in the left wing before crossing directly into Nalongo net, to send the home fan into wild celebration.
