The newly appointed Cameroon Indomitable Lions head coach and former captain, Rigobert Song, has summoned a 38-man squad ahead of his double header world cup playoffs tie against Algeria.
Song’s first game in charge comes on March 25 in Japoma against the Desert foxes in first leg before the return on march 29 in Algiers, and a winner on aggregate will automatically book a spot in 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Goalkeeper Fabrice Ondoa, midfielders Oliver Ntcham, Gael Ondoa, and defender Boey Sacha are some of the notable new faces away from the team that finished third in the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations on home soil.
The two times Afcon winner (2000,2002) and country’s most caped player replaced Portuguese Tony Conceicao in early March.
