Vipers SC forward Ceaser Manzoki and URA duo of Steven Mukwala and Viane Ssekajugo have been nominated for the Pilsner player of the month awards.
The Pilsner awards return this month after missing out on the previous month of January. They had last appeared in December last year with Vipers duo of head coach Robertinho Oliveira and Cesar Manzoki scooping all the two accolades for that month.
Once again, Manzoki has been named on the three man list following his superb performances between January and February.
The Congolese born forward scored three goals to help his side stay at the top with now 43 points. Currently, Manzoki is the leading top scorer with 12 goals after 19 games played.
He will be battling it out with URA FC pair of Steven Mukwala and Viane Ssekajugo, who were also in rich form at their club.

Mukwala Scored four goals and registered as many assists in the five games played. He is currently on 11 goals, one below current leading top scorer Manzoki.
For Ssekajugo, he registered five goals, four coming in one game against his former pay masters Wakiso Giants and one earlier against Bright Stars.
Meanwhile, for the coach of the month award, Vipers Robertinho Oliveira and KCCA FC’s Morley Byekwaso have been norminated for this month’s accolade once again. URA’s Sam Timbe is the other gaffer who joins the three man list.
Oliveira guided Vipers to two wins and drawn two from four games to his side stay on top and are now three points clear on top of the Uganda Premier League table with 43 points.

Byekwaso on the other hand saw KCCA register two wins, drawn one and lost the other. They are currently sitted second place with 40 points, three behind current leaders Vipers.
For Sam Timbe, he saw his side pick four wins and lost one in the five games played. They are currently third with 35 points after 19 games so far in the season.
The Pilsner awards are organised at the start of every New month and are given out to the best player and coach in the previous month, with the winners walking away with Sh1m and a plaque courtesy of Pilsner Lager.
