All is set for the annual UCU Invitational Tournament that will set tone for the Basketball league season.
The Invitational tournament will be played at the Mukono based campus due March 5-6.
Seventeen Men’s teams and Nine Women sides will compete in Mukono.
These include powerhouse City Oilers and last year’s winners UCU Canons (Men) and JKL Lady Dolphins (Women).
UCU Canons beat Betway Power 53-40 while JKL Lady Dolphins overcame UCU Lady Canons to win their respective titles last year (March 15 2021) in Mukono.
The teams will use the tournament to prepare their players for the National Basketball League (and Lower division leagues) that will get underway on March 11.
