Mustafa Kizza In America For Trials

Uganda Cranes left back Mustafa Kizza is set to join Major League soccer outfit New York Red Bulls.

It has been understood that the former KCCA FC left back has been undergoing trials the past weeks at the USA based club.

Kizza, who is on trials, was named in the starting team for New York Red Bulls II as they lost 3-2 West Chester.

However, he was later substituted in the 28th minute for Juan Castillo as they lost on the day.

At New York Red Bulls II, Kizza will join his former KCCA FC teammate Steven Sserwadda, who joined the club in July last year.

As well, he will be joining former Uganda Cranes Captain Ibrahim Ssekagya who is part of the technical team at New York Red Bulls.

Kizza has been a free agent ever since parting ways with Montreal Impact last year early in December.

He had joined the Canadian side in October 2020, joining from Uganda Premier league side KCCA FC.

It will be good news for the former KCCA player who has been out of active football for the last months.
