The tickets for the Masaza Cup final have gone on market ahead of the much anticipated showdown this Saturday at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
The tickets, going for Sh20,000 ordinary and Sh50,000 VIP, were revealed to the media on Tuesday at Bulange.
The selling points are located in Buwekula, Mawokota, Buddu and Kampala.
This year’s finals will see Buddu take on Buwekula where as Bulemeezi will be up against Mawokota in the third place play off game.
Buganda Kingdom Sports Minister Henry Ssekabembe called on fans to come and support their teams in Peace.
He also confirmed that His Majesty Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi will officially grace the Masaza Cup final.

*Gates will be open at 11am
*Katikiro will arrive at 11:30am for the classification match between Buwokota and Bulemeezi
*His Majesty Kabaka arrives at 2:40pm for the Buwekula Vs Buddu that kicks off at 3pm
“I want to ensure the whole country that we have done our best in terms of security and it will be very tight. But security starts with you. Make sure you move lightly (not with men things). Be sober, ad come and enjoy the match,” Ssekabembe stated.
To reach this stage, Buddu eliminated Bulemeezi on Penalties 3-1at the Semi finals held at Njeru last month while Buwekula beat Mawokota 5-3 on penalties as well to reach this far.
Buddu, who lost last year’s final to eventual Champions Gomba will be targeting glory this time round to record their second title having won it in 2016.
For Buwekula, who have never won this Prestigious trophy, they will be targeting their first in this competition when they face off with Buddu.

Sulaiman Kiwanuka Comes Out Big

Sports Lover and Businnessman Sulaiman Kiwanuka purchased 100 tickets for the Masaza final.
He has also offered $100 (Sh370,000) for every goal that will be scored during the final on Saturday.
“I want to thank the Kingdom of Buganda for putting a huge stone on the development of Sports,” said Kiwanuka who was also commended by the Buganda Sports Minister.
“As a sportsperson and a Muganda, there is no way I can shy away from activities of the Buganda kingdom.
“You all know that Sports needs finances, I have worked with Kyaggwe where I injected over 1900 dollars during the period. And I have staked 100 dollars for every goal that will be scored on Saturday.”
Kiwanuka is expected to stand for Parliamentary seat at Nakifuma again, where he has done a couple of projects.
