FUFA Women Super league side Lady Doves WFC has suspended their Captain Reticia Nabbosa for seven days for Indiscipline.
During their 2-1 loss to She Corporates in a league game held on Saturday at Nakawa, Nabbosa was seen confronting and slapping young goalkeeper Agatha Agnes for conceding from a well taken free kick by Corporates midfielder Phionah Nabbumba in the 75th minute.
Agatha was reduced to tears and so her teammate Saluwa Nakaima who was also seen down on her knees with her face on the ground covered with her jersey.
Nabbosa’s act left many football lovers fuming after the final whistle as her action was uncalled for.
As a result, Lady Doves disciplinary committee sat on 26 February 2022 and arrived at the following decisions:
“Reticia has been suspended from all club activities for 7 days ending 5th March 2022 and denied amoruments for the same period. Suspension took effect from 7am 27/02/2022.”
Furthermore, the management has stripped off her Captaincy role for 30 days ending 28th march 2022 and also warned her to steer clear of any acts of indiscipline otherwise stern actions will be administered.”
Nabbosa will be expected to return next week on Sunday 6th and will be available as they host Olila HS on Monday 7th March.
Many fans will suggest that Nabbosa deserved a more tougher punishment!

Currently, the defending Champions are sitted rock bottom with just a single point after four games played.
