Ugandan and Gor Mahia forward Peter Lwasa was on target as his side registered a 1-all draw with Bandari in a Kenya Premier League game held at Mbaraki stadium on Sunday.
Lwasa scored at the stroke of half time before William Wadri, another Ugandan levelled matters in the 70th minute as the two sides shared the points on the day.
It was his fifth goal of the season ever since joining the Kenya Premier league Giants from Kariobangi Sharks last year in September.
Gor Mahia is Lwasa’s third club in Kenya having previously played for Sofapaka FC in 2019 and Kariobangi Sharks.
After sunday’s game, Gor Mahia are currently sixth on the log with 31 points after 18 games.
They will be back in action on Saturday as they host Ulinzi Stars at the Moi international Sports centre.
Having scored his fifth of the season, Lwasa will be hoping to extend his fine form in the upcoming league games.
