KCCA FC bowed out of Uganda cup on the round of 32 after succumbing to a 1-0 loss against Bright stars at the MTN Omondi stadium on a Friday evening.
Speaking on the loss against Bright Stars, coach Morley Byekwaso called out his forwards for the loss.
“We did all we could but our problem remains scoring, if our forwards continue playing this way, we will get problems in winning games,” said Byekwaso.
“Even winning the last game it was the full-backs that helped us but this time round Bright Stars read the game well and they did not allow them to move forward and offer support to the attackers.
“We now need to go back to the drawing board and make sure we wake up our forwards because they are vital and when they perform, they make our job easy.”
The loss ended the Kasasiro boys hopes of clinching a season double but coach Morley Byekwaso remains optimistic of winning the league tittle as he claims KCCA FC is a big club which has to maintain its legacy.
“KCCA is a big team and we wanted to win all trophies because we have the ability to achieve that, we still have the league to win so we must make sure we concentrate hard because we have tough games in the upcoming month.
“We have to work hard to try and win those games because if we continue losing, our chances of winning the league will become slim.”
KCCA FC sit second on the log with 39 points just a point behind table leaders Vipers SC on 40 points.
