FUFA Sanctions NEC FC Coach Lukyamuzi To Undergo Training

NEC FC head coach Michael Lukyamuzi has been sanctioned by the FUFA competitions disciplinary committee following statements he uttered out after his side was eliminated from stanbic Uganda cup.

Lukyamuzi who was not pleased with the referees decisions in their 1-0 loss away to Mbale Heroes expressed his discomfort as he was addressing the press at the end of the game.

He has been sanctioned to undergo a mandatory training in the fields of Human resource capacity building at his own expense in a period not more than 30 days.

“ FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary committee has sanctioned Mr. Lukyamuzi Micheal the head coach of NEC FC following remarks made on 22nd February 2022 after the Stanbic Bank Uganda Cup match no. 43 between Mbale Heroes and NEC FC at San Siro grounds while addressing a post match press conference.” Read part of the document from FUFA.

He must present a report which will be verified by the committee on the 27th March after attending the course.

“As by way of sanction imposed on Mr. Lukyamuzi will undergo a mandatory training in the fields deemed necessary by the FUFA Human Resource capacity building Office at his own expense and avail a report to the committee within 30 days that is 27th March 2022 after which the report shall be verified by the committee.”

The club management is directed to ensure implementation of the committee’s decision against Lukyamuzi.
