Mbarara City FC has promised free entry to all the club fans in the upcoming two home games at Kakyeka Stadium.
The first game that will see fans earn free entry will be a home game against URA FC at the round of 32 on Saturday 26th February 2022.
Coincidentally, the next game will be against the same opponents URA FC in the UPL on Thursday 3rd March.
The move, initiated by Club President Mwine Mpaka, is to motive the fans and players more after poor show in recent games.
After 18 games in the Uganda Premier league, Mbarara City are currently sitted in the 14th position with only 16 points so far.
They have only managed to pick four wins, drawn four and lost ten in the process. Surely it has been a poor start to the Ankole Lions despite making changes in their technical staff on two occasions this campaign.
Initially at the start of the season, they were under the stewardship of Hussein Mbalangu before he was fired after a poor run of results only to be replaced by a returning Sadik Ssempiji.
With the being fans granted free access to the stadium, they will be expected to motivate the side as they look forward to getting needed results while at home.
