– Gaddafi FC will miss the services of Amos Kirya, Bithum Ronald and goalkeeper Paul Majapani who are all out injured.
Jamaldin Buchochera and Faisal Muwawu who missed the URA FC game will still be side-lined as they are on road to recovery.
They welcome back Mark Bamukyaaye to squad.
– Mbarara City will be without midfielder Swalik Bebe and Charles Ssempa eho are out with injuries.
Henry Kitegenyi is suspended due to card accumulation and he will miss the Gaddafi tie.
Mbarara City welcomes back Karim Ramathan who missed their last game against KCCA FC.

Preview: The Ankole lions take the relegation battle into the soldier boys land

The startimes Uganda premier matchday 18 will climax with the game against Gadaffi FC who take on Mbarara City at the Gaddafi Arena in Jinja on Sunday 20th February.

Mbarara city sit in the relegation zone with 16 points, a difference of four points separates them with their hosts of Gaddafi FC who sit 9th on the log with 21 points.

This will be pay back time for Mbarara who lost to Gaddafi 1-0 at Kakyeka, and a win will push them out of the relegation zone.

Mbarara’s efforts will be backed up by a 1-1 draw they picked up against title contendors KCCA FC at Kakyeeka Stadium recently.

Gaddafi FC come into this game with an aim of returning to winning ways after losing their last two away games they played against URA FC (2-1) and Wakiso Giants (4-1).

Peter Onen’s side targets maximum points at home as they want to secure their stay in the top flight league.

“Its not going to be an easy game because when you look at the table standings it gives us the better magnitudeod the game. We are not breathing very well and we need the win so that we can at least pick up a breather,” said Peter Onen.

“This is the team which we picked up maximum points when we played against them but according to the standings, they want more from the game so that they can move to better positions.”

“It won’t be an easy but the best team which will utilize its chances well will take the day.”

Gaddafi will who have lost twice at home this season, will bank on home support and the side have removed entrance fee for their first 1000 fans to enter the game.

The visitors of Mbarara city are on a poor away run where – They have not won an away game in the league this season, drawing just once and losing all the seven games.
