Kampala Queens head coach Hamuza Lutalo is optimistic that his side will keep improving in the upcoming games of the ongoing FUFA Women Super league season.
This he said after their goalless draw against Tooro Queens in their second game of the season.
It was another frustrating result for Lutalo’s side who are yet to get off the mark this season. They had lost to Kawempe Muslim in their opener at Kabojja grounds.
While speaking after Sunday’s game against Tooro Queens, Lutalo is still hopeful that his side get better.
“We have put up a good performance against Tooro Queens. As I told you, if we play one to three games we shall keep improving and getting better,” he stated.
As they seek to boost their squad, Kampala Queens have added in more new faces as they kick start the season. Among these are Zaitun Namaganda, Shamirah Naluggya, Zainah Nandede, Kunihira Margret and goalkeeper Prima Mugidde.
And for Lutalo, he says these new additions will be a big boost to his side.
“We have new players joining us one by one, we added in Nandede and Kunihira, this will boost our squad as games keep coming.”
Following their goalless draw on Sunday, Kampala Queens are second from the bottom with just a single point after two games.
They will be back in action on Sunday February 20th as they take on She Maroons away from home at the Luzira Prisons grounds.
