Namuwongo Blazers have revealed their 12-man squad ahead of the start of the 2022 National Basketball League.
The squad comprise of four new signings including former Betway Power captain Joseph Ikong who joins the side after he was released by City Oilers.
Former Warriors Power forward Amisi ‘Camelo’ Saidi Danny, Collins Kasujja and Richard Ongom who joins from KIU Titans and KCCA Men respectively, are the other new additions.

“I have a lot of confidence in this squad,” Nam Blazers coach Steven Nyeko Escodata told The-SportsNation.
“I believe the new players will blend in well with the rest of the team to see that we achieve our targets.”
The club recently released five players – Geoffrey Soro, Chris Omanye, Emmanuel Okumu, Julius Lutwama, Francis Azolibe and Stephen Otoa.
Coach Escodata says that they failed to agree terms with the released players and “we wish them best of luck in their next journey.”
The Blazers were 3rd (5-2) last season when the season was cancelled and will be going for a title in their second season in top flight ahead of the new season due to tip off on March 11 2022.
