There was gloom covering Muteesa II Stadium on a sunny Monday morning amidst the reported sacking of Express FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa.
The club is expected to relieve Bbosa off his duties before closure of business on Monday.
The shocking developments come months after the gaffer won Express their first league title since 2011/12 season.
It was not business as usual at Wankulukuku as a handful of players were seen with saddened faces as they arrived at the venue.
Bbosa together with his technical team which included James Odoch (Assistant Coach), Sam Kawalya (Goalkeeping Coach), Ayub Balyejusa (Trainer), Enock Kayondo (Team Doctor) and Hassan Mubiru (Trainer) humbly sat on the steps laid on entrance of the VIP section for close to an hour.
Bbosa was on several occasions seen moving aside to attend to his busy phone that continuously rung throughout his on and off conversations with his technical team.
Moments after, players Sadiq Ssekyembe, Abel Eturude, Ivan Mayanja, Raymond Walugembe and Richard Bbosa went down the pitch with the coaches for a light warm up.
It has been established by this Website that the players were informed that there was not training today (Monday).
The club’s coaching team is expected to meet Club CEO Isaac Mwesigwa in a technical meeting at midday who is to inform them about the sacking of Bbosa.
