Preview: URA seek to bounce back to winning Ways.
URA FC will be seeking a return to winning ways when they host Gaddafi FC at the Arena of Visions Ndejje, Bombo on Saturday.
The Tax Collectors come off a 1-0 loss to KCCA FC, one that ended their good run they had enjoyed in the last three League outings. They had picked three wins in a row beating KCCA 1-0 at home, Bright Stars 3-0 at Kavumba before beating Busoga United 3-1 at Kakindu.
Back at home after three away games in a row, the Tax Collectors host a side that denied them maximum points in the reverse fixture that ended 1-1 at Gaddafi arena in Jinja and it’s time to prove a point.
This being their first home game in the second round, there will be no room for error as they target to close the gap at the top.
Sitted in the fourth place with 28 points, URA have a chance to leapfrog third placed Express on 29 points, who dropped points against Tooro United on Friday at Wankulukuku.
Meanwhile, the Visitors, Gaddafi also have the same ambitions of returning to winning ways when they make a trip to Bombo.
The Soldier Boyz lost 4-1 to Wakiso Giants in their previous League outing at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium last week.
Ahead of the game, head coach Peter Onen predicts a tough contest given the fact that both teams will be eager to regain their winning touch.
“It is not going to be an easy game because we all lost in our last games. So it is going to be more complicated for both of us since we are all desperate to win, so it will depend on one’s good tactical ability to take the day, Onen told the club’s media.
The reverse fixture saw Yunus Sabira’s late strike cancel out Steven Mukwala’s goal as the two sides shared spoils at Gaddafi arena earlier last month.
