Skipper Muhammad Shaban led by example as his brace, goal either half, ensured that Onduparaka returned to winning ways.
The 3-1 against Busoga United helped the Caterpillars jump out of relegation zone at the Greenlight Stadium in Arua.
Gabriel Matata was also on the scoresheet for the hosts after Shaka Ssozi had equalised for the Busoga United.
Onduparaka registers their second win in their last five matches and a perfect revenge against Busoga United who won the first round 2-0 in Njeru.
Onduparaka started off brightly with Shaban heading in the opener in the 3rd minute of the game off Gabriel Matata’s cross.
Shaka equalised for Busoga United at the stroke of halftime in the 44th minute to send the game level at the break.
Two quick fire goals for Onduparaka in a space of a minute, Matata was assisted by Shaban who picked up a loose ball and ran through the wing to restore the visitors lead in the 56th minute.
A minute later, Shaban completed his brace and Onduparaka’s third goal of the game.
This is only Onduparaka’s fourth win of the season while Busoga United have now lost 11 matches, only Tooro have lost more (13).
Onduparaka moves to 12th on the log with 17 points after 17 matches while Busoga are 15th in the relegation zone with 14 points in 17 matches.

Onduparaka will return to action on Saturday 19th away to KCCA at the Philip Omondi Stadium Lugogo while Busoga United host Express at Kakindu stadium on Friday 18th.
