•Express 2-2 Tooro United
George Senkaaba scored a double including an 80th minute equaliser as Express FC survived Tooro United scare.
Senkaaba handed the Red Eagles a lead at restart of the second half but Tooro United fought back with goals from Musa Doca and Hussein Mwanje.
The Red Eagles thought that they had found a winner but Joseph Akandanwaho’s goal was wrongly ruled out for offside.
The result continues Tooro United’s resurgence after the side beat Onduparaka FC 1-0 in Buhinga on matchday 15. The side move 8 points but remain rock bottom.

Senkaaba’s opener was a well worked goal – Nicholas Kasozi started the move when he picked Martin Kizza who found Sadiq Ssekyembe on the left flank The left back delivered a well weighed cross that was headed in by Senkaaba on close range.
Tooro United’s fight back started when Isa Lumu shoved Kenneth Madira from the back for referee Waiswa Muzamiru to point to the spot.
And Mwanje coolly converted from the spot for the equaliser.
Express goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa could have done better to keep out Doca’s header from close range as the Visitors took the lead.
But Senkaaba pounced in a long range that kissed the crossbar and into the net.

Tooro United looked very comfortable on the ball and tried to build from the back but never asked questions going forward.
They almost conceded very early but Goalkeeper Kenneth Lukyamuzi punched out Godfrey Lwesibawa’s teasing corner.
Muhammad Ssenoga had an effort deflected, Ronald Magwali missed a seater while goalkeeper Mutakubwa produced a wonderful save to keep out Gerald Lubanjwa with a singer-tip save.
It was a disappointing display for Express whose chase for title defence has been handed another blow.
With 29 points, Express may slip to 10 points below leaders Vipers if the Venoms beat Arua Hill on Saturday at Kitende.
What Next – Express will hope to make amends when they visit Busoga United on February 18. Tooro United host SC Villa at Buhinga stadium on February 16.
