Tito Okello: Former KCCA, Vipers Striker in Iran to Seal Deal

Former KCCA FC and Vipers striker Tito is set to join Iranian side Shahr Khodro Football club, The-Sportsnation can reliably confirm.

Okello, together with his South Sudan teammate Obede Morgan is in Iran ahead of their anticipated move to the new club.

Okello, formerly at Vipers, crossed to Kenyan Premier league side Gor mahia FC in August 2020 after ending his spell at the Kitende based side.

However, last year in September, reports had it that the forward was on the verge of leaving the Kenyan side citing unpaid arrears.

And this new deal might have come at a time when he needed it the most as he looks for new challenge and greener pastures elsewhere.

Besides KCCA and Vipers, the lanky striker has previously featured for BUL FC, Africa Lyon and Mbeya City in Tanzania and Benfica De Macau.

For Obede, a central Midfielder, he has been playing for Australian based club Stirling Lions Soccer club.

Last month, Okello and Obede were part of South Sudan national team that played international Friendly games against Uzbekistan and Jordan in Dubai.
