Big League: Blacks Power Overcome Kitara to stay Top

Blacks Power managed to beat Kitara FC to get their second round campaign of the FUFA Big League on a strong note.

First half goals from Mukiibi Ali and Odongo Moses were enough for Blacks Power to start with maximum points in a game played at the Akibua Memorial stadium.

New signing Clinton Kamugisha scored the consolation for the Visitors.

Mukiibi gave the hosts a deserved lead in the 10th minute before Odongo Moses doubled the advantage in the 21st minute.

Kamugisha, making his debut since joining from Nyamityobora, pulled one back for Kitara FC before halftime.

Blacks Power wins their sixth game of the season and remain on top with 21 points.

For Kitara, this is their fourth loss, and remain on 15 points after 11 games.

What next

Both sides will return to action on Sunday 13th as Blacks Power travel away to MYDA at the King George IV memorial stadium while Kitara will host Kyetume at Masindi Municipal Stadium.
