Tooro Queens FC head coach Rogers Ayesiga says that his side will correct mistakes after drawing their FUFA Women Super League opener with Rines.
Visiting Tooro Queens were held to a 1-1 draw by debutants Rines on Sunday at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso.
The Country Queens who took the lead in the early stage of the game through Mary Kabaculezi’s 18th minute strike, failed to hold on their nerves when they conceded an equalizer in 63rd minute courtesy of Yasmeen Nalukwago.
Besides the clumsy defending which saw them concede an equalizer, the visitors also wasted a lot of clear chances which would have seen them leave Wakiso with maximum points.
“I am happy that we got a point away from home which is not something easy but still I am angry that we lost a game we would have won,” Ayesiga stated after the match.
“Now we are going back on drawing board to correct mistakes observed in today’s game, to see that we get a win in our home game”
The visitors who had the lions share of ball possession, created very many scoring opportunity with clear cut chances landing but Mary Kemigisa, Resty Kobusobozi and Imelda Kasemiire were not equal to the tasks.
In their next league fixture, Tooro Queens will host Kampala Queens next Sunday at Buhinga Stadium
