Uganda Premier league side Mbarara is expected to announce the signing of Bright Stars midfielder Augustine Kacancu, per reports.
Kacancu who has missed a couple of Bright Stars activities including training and a 3-0 loss to URA FC, is said to be joining Mbarara City on a short term loan deal.
Defender Ramathan Dudu who crosses from West Nile based club Onduparaka has also joined the Ankole Lions.
Najib Gwaido Tusaba and Central Defender Charles Ssempa join on short term deals from Jinja based side BUL FC.
David Ojok joins from Six O’Clock that plays in the Western Regional League while former Luweero United Striker Henry Musisi also joined the Ankole Lions on a short term employment contract.
The other good news for the Ankole is that Ronald Otti extended his contract that will keep him at the club till the end of the season.
However in the recent January transfer market, the club lost their former captain Hillary Mukunda, who cross to Vipers SC while Raymond Onyai terminated his contract by mutual consent.
This season, Mbarara City have had a low start and they currently sit in the 12th position with only 15 points, collected from 15 games so far.
