Masaza Cup Final: Entrance Fee Set, SOPs To Be Observed

The 27th edition of Buganda Masaza Cup finals entrance fee has been revealed in a press conference chaired by Buganda’s minister for Youth, Sports and Recreation Henry Ssekabembe.

The finals which are set to be played on 5th next month at St Mary’s Stadium will go for a fee of Ugx 20,000 ordinary and 50,000 for VIP.

The much anticipated final will be between 2016 Champions Buddu FC and 2012 runner up Buwekula FC.

Ssekabembe also confirmed that the final will be graced by His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.

The classification match of a 3rd place, will serve as the curtain raiser of the day, staring at 12:00 noon and it will be between three time champion Mawokota (2005,2007 & 2013) and 2012 champions Bulemeezi.

“Though the economy is now fully open and so Sports, Standard Operating Procedures as directed by Government and FUFA shall be strictly observed,” cautioned Minster Henry Sekabembe.

Its should be noted that this and last edition of Masaza cup have been held at FUFA Technical center Njeru.

The theme of the match continues to be “Men Against Aids To Save The Girl Child”.
