Vipers head coach Roberto Oliveira says the return of attacking Midfielder Frank Zaga Tumwesigye will be a big boost to his side.
This he said recently during an interview with the club’s media.
Zaga, who had left the Kitende based side in 2020, made a return to his boyhood club last week.
“I’m happy for Zaga’s return because he gives us more options, he is aggressive work the ball and I like it. I think Vipers has a good generation between young and experienced players, we have more options now and I hope he will be a key player,” Robertinho told the club’s media.
After leaving the Venoms, the Midfielder joined Police FC in August 2020 as he had sights on having more playing time, something he was lacking at Vipers.

At Police, his career looked to have blossomed but he went AWOL and never returned to training in the last days of the 2020/21 season.
Despite all the happenings, Zaga, a former Uganda U17 had won hearts of many football lovers given his abilities showcased at Copa Coca cola tournaments in the past years.
In his first interview with the club on Wednesday, Zaga said that it’s now time his to make it to the top again and he returns a changed player.
And now, the Brazilian gaffer is hopeful that Zaga will be a good addition as they gear up for the second round.
“I think he will be good for the second round because our team wants to be champions because we value offensive players.”
Zaga returns at a time as the Kitende based club prepares for the second round of the season that will get underway at the start of next month.
At Vipers that is filled with more offensive players, Zaga will have to prove his worth once again if he is to break into Roberto Oliveira’s first team.
