Uganda Premier League record Champions SC Villa have signed South Sudanese international Steven Pawaar on yet a undisclosed contract, SportsNation has learnt.
The lanly central midfielder joins from South Sudan outfit Muniki FC.
Pawaar’s move is said to have been influenced by SC Villas head coach Petros Koukouras who was once part of South Sudan National team technical team.
Pawaar was part of the South Sudan U-23 national team that finished 3rd in CECAFA U-23 held in Ethiopian, 2019. He also played for Amarat United Juba.
The Jogoos who are 11th on the log with 16 points from 14 games face a trip to Kitende this Wednesday 2nd to face rivals Vipers SC.
