Hillary Mukundane: Defender Seals Move to Vipers

Vipers have confirmed signing defender Hillary Mukundane on a three-year deal.

The centre back joins St Mary’s Stadium Kitende few days after terminating his contract with Mbarara City FC.

Mukundane will wear jersey number 22, the club has confirmed.

“The ambitions for the club are clear and I want to be part of this journey,” he is quoted by the club.

“I feel happy joining Vipers and it’s a dream come true because am at the biggest club in the country right now. I hope that many successes come from this.”

“I can’t wait to put the shirt on and get out there and play for Vipers.”

He is the second signing for Vipers in the ongoing January transfer window after Frank Zaga Tumwesigye.

It’s a big move for Mukundane who will be eyeing to win silverware with the Venoms and a place on the National team.

Mukundane, who has also played for Kamoma FC and Ntonda, will be expected to team up with Halid Lwaliwa in the heart of Vipers defence.
