As Kigali new head coach Mike Mutebi suffered his first loss at the Rwanda based club following his side’s 2-0 loss to Etoile de l’EST on Thursday.
This was Mutebi’s second game in charge at AS Kigali. The first one saw his side draw goalless with current league leaders APR this week on Sunday.
Mutebi named unchanged lineup including starting former KCCA FC right back Dennis Rukundo.
However, playing away from home, Mutebi’s men failed to put up a better performance on the day and in the end conceded two goals to drop all the three points.
AS Kigali now suffer their second loss in the season and they remain in the third position with 24 points after 14 games played.
Mutebi, together with his assistant Jackson Mayanja, were unveiled last week on Wednesday at the Rwanda Premier league.
With more games coming in, Mutebi will be hoping that his team can get a winning momentum to keep up with the pace at the top.
