Bushenyi Veterans 0-1 Police FC

Police FC reached this year’s Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 following a slim 1-0 win over Bushenyi Veterans on Thursday.
Fahad Kizito’s early goal in the 9th minute was the difference on the day as Abdallah Mubiru’s charges picked a narrow win away from home.
In a game that saw limited chances from the Cops, Kizito’s goal was enough to see them reach the next stage.
Victory saw Police join the rest of the teams that have already sealed a place to the round of 32 including Gaddafi FC, Wakiso Giants, Booma FC, Rusekere Growers and Kajjansi United.
The tie between Bundimasoli and Bul FC is yet to be decided after the home team Bundimasoli failed to turn up for their round of 64 contest against the Jinja based side earlier this week.
The round of 64 is set to be played between 18th to 30th January this year.
Having had a better start, Police FC who finished at the semi final stage last season will be hoping to keep on improving as they eye the big prize this season.
