Shorthanded Nyamityobora have been knocked out of the Stanbic Uganda Cup by Kitara Region League side Booma FC at the round of 64.
Playing with nine players, Nyamityobora lost 4-1 in a one-sided encounter played at Masindi Municipal Stadium.
Brian Kanyesige scored for Nyamityobora who also lost Brian Nyabwina to injury as the Abanyakare finished the game with eight players.
Assistant Captain Chris Isingoma added on Clinton Asiimwe’s hat trick as Booma sailed through to the Round of 16.
Booma were dominant and capitalised on their numerical advantage but proved wasteful on the day.
Ten minutes into the game, Douglas Kizza had already missed two scoring opportunities, before Assiimwe failured to convert another clear cut with a goal keeper to beat.
Denis Omedi went for power and his shot was deflected into a corner kick before Aldrine Kambale’s goal was ruled out for offside, before Asiimwe opened the scores.
Asiimwe’s goal was a fine finish off Douglas Kizza’s assist to give the hosts a deserved lead at the break.
Assiimwe picked up where he left from and just a minute into the second half, he doubled the lead for the hosts before sealing an hat-trick as Booma moved out Nyamityobora sight.

The hosts still looked hungry for more, they continued to attack at the helpless Nyamityobora before put the Isingoma put the final nail into the Visitor’s Coffin.
In the 87th minute, Nyamityobora picked a consolation through Kanyesige but it proved little too late for the Big League side.
This is Booma’s best Performance in the tournament so far, which has seen them progress to the round of 32 for first time in their history.
The result extends Nyamityobora’s misery this season but it’s a blessing in disguise for a side that is seeking to avoid relegation from the Big League.
