Team News
The pair of left back Aziz Kayondo and midfielder Siraje Sentamu, who missed out on the Arua Hill clash are expected to be back and they took part in the team’s last training on Friday.

Youngsters Richard Basangwa, Umar Kyebatala and Lawrence Tezikya remain long term absentees.

For the Visitors, Ambrose Kirya and Hamis Tibita remain out due to injuries and the game comes a little bit early for the two. The rest of the players are available for selection.

Preview: No room for error as Vipers welcome BUL.

Vipers SC will be targeting a return to winning when they host Bul FC at the St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende on Saturday evening.

The Venoms come off a 1-0 loss to Arua Hill in their last game away from home in Arua, one that saw them drop to the second with now 29 points, two below current leaders KCCA on 31.

Back at home, they host a side that also comes wounded having lost to Wakiso Giants in the previous game.

In his second competitive game that came in the Uganda Cup final, Vipers head coach Robertinho Oliveira saw his side put eight goals past a depleted Bul FC side to lift a second Uganda final for the Venoms in club history.

Ahead of the contest, the Brazilian gaffer predicts a tough contest and admitted that the Visitors have got a new look ever since the cup final.

” We have prepared our team very well for this game because Bul is a good team and they changed many players in their team. We need to put more attention about this. But we shall use the same style, our objective is to go back to the top since its our main target is to be champions, he told the club’s media.”

Fresh from winning the Player of the month award, Ceaser Manzoki will once again be tasked to lift up their his side if they are to get the needed result on Saturday.

On the other hand, the Visitors as well will be targeting a return to winning ways having lost to Wakiso Giants 4-3 away from home in their previous league game.

Back on the road again, they face a side that put eight against them in the Uganda Cup finals, and this will be their turn to spoil the Venom’s party to see them drop more points.

With a few injury scares, Bul will feel that it is the right time they put up a good show and prove a point against Roberto Oliveira’s men.

Musa Esenu and Ibrahim Nsimbe, who have 15 goals combined so far this season will be tasked to carry on the team going forward if they are hurt the Kitende based side.

Having it in mind that a win at Kitende will see them leapfrog Express in the third position, who dropped points on Friday, Alex Isabirye’s men will all go out and fight for maximum points to see them get back on track.
