Uganda Cranes defender Bevis Mugabi is strongly linked to a switch to Scottish giants Celtic FC.
The defender has had a successful spell in Scotland since joining Motherwell in September 2019.
And he has now emerged as a shock Celtic target in the ongoing transfer window per sources in Scotland.
If the move comes to pass, Mugabi will face it rough to break through Manager Ange Postecoglou’s starting team that has Cameroon Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt among other centre backs.
Mugabi, 26, who can play on the right side of defence, has entered into his last six months of Motherwell of contract and expected not to renew his stay at Fir Park.
He made the headlines when his jump to score a winner against Ross County bettered Christiano Ronaldo’s leap at Juventus.

Mugabi who was part of Uganda Cranes squad for 2019 AFCON in Egypt, started out at Fulham before joining Southampton in 2011 where he spent five years during his youth career.
He later switched to Yeovil Town where he scored four league goals in 86 games between 2016 to 2019.
