Joseph Ssemujju Leaves BUL FC

Joseph Ssemujju has left Uganda Premier League side BUL FC, the Pacy Winger has told The-SportsNation.

The club is yet to confirm the developments but Ssemujju said that he wants a new challenge.

“I have left BUL FC,” Ssemujju told The-Sportsnation. “There is no big deal, I have agreed with my club to part ways. I just feel like I need a new challenge.”

The former Vipers, Express, SC Villa and Proline attacker joined BUL FC in January 2020 and leaves with six months still on his contract.

New BUL CEO Joseph Mutaka, formerly a Club Head of Communications, has refuted claims adding that Ssemujju is still contracted at the club.

It has been a low season so far for Ssemujju who has notched just one goal midway through the campaign in 13 games.

He scored 11 last season in the league which was halted by Covid19 pandemic and had four during his first season at the club in the 2019/20 spell.

He leaves with a total of 16 goals in Ssemujju League games at BUL FC.

Gifted with pace and trickery, Ssemujju was born May 26 1997 in Buziga and grew up in Masuliita, Wakiso district.
