Preview: UPDF Banking on Home Record
UPDF will bank on their home form this season when they host a tricky BUL FC at the Bombo Military Barracks Ground.
UPDF have won four of their five home games and are still unbeaten at the Bombo Military Barracks Ground this season.
That black spot came in form of a 2-2 draw against Gaddafi on November 2.
Coming into this game, UPDF have lost their last two league games (Arua Hill and Wakiso Giants) and will be hoping to return to winning ways.
BUL FC on the other hand, played out a goalless draw with Bright Stars in a game they missed from the spot at Bugembe.
BUL FC head Coach Alex Isabirye is confident they will will get maximum points: “We lost to UPDF 2-1 last season, it was a tough game but this season we have tried to win our away games, so I think we shall win the game. The players are ready and prepared for the game and I am sure we shall get the 3 points.”
Last season, Dickens Okwir brace helped UPDF to a 2-1 victory at home, Joseph Ssemujju had given BUL the lead from the spot.
In the second round in Bugembe, BUL were 4-3 winners with brace from Deoagracious Ojok and Simon Peter Oketch, Ezekiel Katende, Kalumba Brian and Dudu Ramathan own goal were on the scoresheet for UPDF.
